FARMINGDALE RESIDENT RECEIVES PROMOTION AT LOCAL BANK
President and CEO of Kennebec Savings Bank, Mark L. Johnston, recently announced that Amos M. Byron has been promoted to Vice President and Trust Officer.
Byron has been with Kennebec Savings Bank since early 2000, when he was initially hired as Assistant Vice President and Trust Officer. Amos has diligently and consistently worked on both establishing and significantly growing the Investment Management and Trust (IM&T) Services Department of the Bank since he was hired. The Department opened with zero assets and zero clients, and with his commitment, we now have over 180 Trust clients and $48 million under management.
Amos earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Maine at Orono, and is a graduate the Cannon Trust School, a three-year program on personal trust administration development. Amos is a Certified Trust Financial Advisor, and is a graduate of the Kennebec Leadership Institute.

Amos lives in Farmingdale with his wife, Kelly, and their two sons, Max and Alec.
